I am writing this message mainly because I am going to join as a postdoctoral scholar in Ecole Polytechnique, and therefore need some suggestions regarding my stay in France. I have completed my bachelors in Electronics engineering and have around 6yrs of experience in the embedded industry(now in Qualcomm India). I have received an offer for integrated MS+PhD(5yrs) from IP Paris (Prof. Laurent Pautet is from Telecom Paris, LTCI lab). It is a new program that includes all 5 institutes under IPP and all labs. so, the course 'cyber-physical systems' should be flexible and it overall looks fine. But I am not sure about the research and teaching over there. Do you have any idea about it? (reputation/teaching/research anything). Could you point me to someone from that Lab? In France, the other option I have is MSc in Digital security at Eurecom.
