Before you apply to Study in France

Those who are planning to study in France must go through this article.

1. What you should do first before applying to any Business School?

Before applying to any College/ Business school check all information thoroughly. For example, how many accreditations does that school holds? Language of the program (whether it is in English or French). After the completion of the program are they going to help you with the Internships or full-time Jobs? Campus workshops including French companies or International as well?  Check the ratings and reviews of the college. Try to contact somebody through our Facebook group, take all the details of the chosen program.

2. Whether the college/ School is fake or not?

-The best thing I did before applying to Rennes School of Business, I contacted the Indian Embassy of Paris and took all the information.

In case of no response from the embassy, you can write a post in our group (Indians In France). Certainly, you will get a response.

-If your family members or friends residing in France, you can ask them to check with universities or Business schools.

-Else, try to contact the international department of the college.

3.How to choose the right course?

- France has a very large number of business schools. People choose France because it follows a systematic education criterion. If you are in dilemma, go to the website of the college/school check all the contents of your course. Go through all the subjects. You will see the remarks by the professors as well. This way you will have a better idea about your course. And you check other course options as well. However, after your arrival in France, if the course seems difficult to you, talk to your professors or somebody from the international department. They will put you into another course.

4. Visa- Assistance

- Before applying in France check with your college whether they are going to help you with the visa extension or not. Because in France, if you apply for a visa extension by yourself the process is very long and time taking.

5.Scholarships

- There are so many scholarship options available for Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D. Students. For information on scholarships go to the Campus France website below:-

6.Learn French

- It is better if you learn basic French. Without having French knowledge, it would be difficult here. And once you are in Paris, you can enroll yourself in Centre Zenith one of the best and affordable institutes among all.
